I came home on Halloween to find my daughter preparing for a long night of trick-or-treating:
Here are our Lanterns-O'-Jack, both with and without the camera flash:
This year Cameron decided to be a firefighter and Claire a Fairy Princess. I had to give her a little pep talk to get her to put on some warm clothes under her thin costume, but in the end she was a real trooper about it.
Cameron was the first to discover the joy of arranging your trick-or-treating haul, but Claire elevated it to an art form. (I swear, this was her idea.)
It was a good year for trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood - almost all of the kid's candy this year was chocolate. Very little filler candy this time around.
By the end of the weekend Cameron had moved past Halloween and was thinking about Christmas. Here he is perusing one of the many toy catalogs we've received lately. It's no Sears Wish Book but it will have to do.
